Yesterday it rained all day. But did my little guy and I stay inside all day? Nope. Now, maybe if he was older and liked to curl up and watch kids movies with me I may have considered it. But, at his age he is GO GO GO all the time, rain or shine. So how do we conquer a rainy day? We start at the library, not only does my son love to see the fish and read some books, Mommy gets to print out extra coupons {of course} since a lot of online coupons give me limits and when it comes to my new coupon habit, I don't like limits. My closet is now half pantry due to my new "habit" but it makes me happy whenever I look at it. After the library, you guessed it, we did a little coupon shopping. I was planning on doing even more later in the day.... but I am not the only one who loves the deals because Rite Aid {actually all Rite Aids I called} were out of the one thing I wanted! You would think when a small store runs an ad for a great sale they would stock up on that item....but no, it never happens. Too bad. Last night was a late night for Mommy, why you ask? Of course it has to do with my coupons, usually I don't put a TON of time into my coupons but I HAD to get organized. I bought a binder {on clearance} and some baseball card inserts and went through all of my coupons. They are now all organized alphabetically in my binder. I don't even care how silly I will look taking a binder to the store, it will make me less annoying to everyone, I won't have to stop in isles digging for that one coupon I know I have. Well, today is turning out to be another rainy day, and of course we will do a little coupon shopping, this time with my coupon partner in crime, and then we will do some laps around the mall. It is amazing how amused my little man can be from being pushed around in the stroller through the mall, I guess he enjoys people watching. I am excited to go out and get my deals, and to have a day with my coupon buddy/ best friend. Maybe this afternoon I will relax with some hot chocolate and enjoy the rainy day from inside. But I am sure my son would rather play than sit around, and playing monster with him beats hot chocolate every time.
